Ashlea House School

The new school year has commenced at our Educational Facility, Ashlea House School, and this year we Back to schoolhave introduced an exciting new curriculum to our pupils. We will have two new additions to our teaching staff, a french teacher and a music teacher.

Three of our residential young people have now left our on site school and will be starting college following a 100% pass rate in their GCSEs; they will now be studying on Hairdressing, Carpentry and Public Services courses – we wish them continued success.

The staff have been observed to be professional, non-judgmental and respectful towards YP’s and they are excellent at multi-agency working and supporting me in my role as the social worker.

The staff are very supportive, nothing is too much trouble and the home is welcoming, staff are well trained. The home is organised around young people’s education, activities and emotional support. The home could improve by moving to Herford.
